Hello! I know it's been awhile... but I just wanted to wish all the teabaggers and protesters a safe and healthy tax day! Though I'm sure the "grassroots" protest will go on without any fraction of violence or rioting(That's for us liberals, remember?) When I say grassroots, I don't mean that tea parties were put together by people like you and me, like most grassroots projects are. Though fixed news likes to throw the word "Grassroots" around, this fiasco was really put together by Newt Gingrich, Dick Armey, and many other corporate republicans. Therefor making it a corporate movement, not a grassroots movement in any way.
But either way, this protest is here to rail against the big spending of our government. It's amazing to me the amount of republicans who just within the last three months have been outraged by government spending. I guess you all didn't have the courage or guts to stage a protest of this size when Bush was spending us into a hole that Obama inherited. But that's OK! I'm sure partisan politics has nothing to do with this... I'm sure you guys are doing this because you care about this country and it's future! So I'm expecting to see just as much propaganda slamming Bush as there will be slamming our current president! if your really against big spending, be against it entirely. Not just when a president is elected that you do not like!
Speaking of the president, I hope you all enjoy the tax cut he has given most of you and maybe it will cross your mind as you hold signs and picket like a San Francisco liberal. Remember that us liberals protested our bleeding hearts out, and where did that get us? Ridiculed by the republicans and four more years of the worst president in our history!
Oh how the times have changed! We now live in a time where the republicans protest and the democrats sit back and laugh! A tea party? You do realize what the original tea party was about right? You do realize that the argument is not relevant today because you do have representatives today for the taxes, where they did not. But that's not why you're doing this, you're doing this because in November the country rejected your old stale ideas!
When you are wasting massive amounts of tea for no good reason. Do me a favor and buy out all the tea from the organic companies, such as celestial seasons. Companies that gave Obama's campaign money! Buy their tea so that in 2012 they can give him even more money and we can have four more years to reverse all the damage the republicans have done.
Lastly, ask any economist... any fair economist....they will tell you that stopping spending in a time like this is the worst thing we could possibly do!
With that said,,be safe and have fun!
Do what you have to do! The republicans can protest whatever they want..fake or real... but us liberals do whats important....we vote!!!

Screw Politics, I'm going to the Movies!!!!
Yes, i'm afriad it's true!
I've had alot of fun creating and blogging on my site here. I love politics (well, it's kind of a love-hate relationship) and I love debating politics. But I feel I've found a better outlet for myself.......Cinema!
If you think I'm opinionated with politics...trust me...you haven't seen anything yet!
So, while I will keep this site open(I might get a political spurt and feel like bitching and/or commenting) I will be opening another site dedicated to cinema. I am an aspiring screenwriter/director. I've loved movies as far back as I can remember. But I have alot of opinions about hollywood today. Some good, some bad!
I will be reviewing new releases and recomending older archival films that i feel everyone should see at least once.
Sometimes i will write pieces on actors or directors careers and write about genres and so on.
And sometimes I will write about my opinion on the inter workings of hollywood(or lack there of)
I feel with the change that i will write more.
It's not that I have already run out of things to say on the subject of politics. But with the risk of sounding like a complete asshole....I am happy with the current standings of our government and with that happiness and contentment, I am left with not much to complain about! So far, so good!
And besides, I'll always have my tuesday night debates with Alex aka Evil Monk from Righteous Rantings!
So my friends it is the end of an era. An era that lasted about a month and 7 or 8 blogs!
I'm so sorry to let down my loyal fanbase!!!! (of 3 people) (which includes myself)
But dont slit your wrists just yet, i will be back here from time to time! I'm sure at times things will get interesting and i will be back here to give my opinion on it!
Also, I invite others to write movie reviews or whatever and i'll post it on my site! And i might have some of my friends jump on board to help me review and just to have other opinions!!
The site should be up in about a week or so! I'm going all out on this one so I hope you like it!!!
Untill then, take care and hope to see you soon!

When Angels Deserve to Die?
There has been something odd going on lately with our military.
Officials say there has been an alarming spike in the suicide rate among our military.
The Army said 24 soldiers are believed to have committed suicide in January alone -- six times as many as killed themselves in January 2008, according to statistics released Thursday.
The Army said it already has confirmed seven suicides, with 17 additional cases pending that it believes investigators will confirm as suicides for January.
If those prove true, more soldiers will have killed themselves than died in combat last month. According to Pentagon statistics, there were 16 U.S. combat deaths in Afghanistan and Iraq in January.
"This is terrifying," an Army official said. "We do not know what is going on."
Some say the long, cold months of winter could be a factor.
Some say it could be from the stress of leaving family and loved ones behind knowing that they are struggling here at home with our ecomony in bad shape. They suggest that maybe some troops feel guilty and that could lead to the rise in the suicide rate.
Another therory is that the anti-depressants prescribed to the soldiers can have side effects that include suicidal thougts....(Yes I'm serious) (I've never big a big fan of our medical and/or pharmicudical system, but thats for another blog)
This has been such a problem that congress and army leadership were briefed monthy instead of the usual annual briefing.
In 2008, the rate of army suicides was 20.2 per 100,000 soldiers.
In the same year, 41 marines commited suicide in 2008. Up from 33 in 2007 and 25 in 2006.
What is going on here?
In this blog I don't have a point to make or a revelation. I'm just curious as to why this is happening and what should we do about this?
I have never served in the service. I can only imagine how hard it is to leave your loved ones behind to go to a distant country to fight a war.
it would make more sense if we were drafting soldiers who were forced to go against their will. But these are young men and women who signed up in free will.
And supposedly Iraq is starting to stabilize and violence has taken a steep downturn compared to several years ago.
So what is going on? Why is this happening?
My amature opinion is that it is either the anti-depressants(that cause depression) or it's from soldier's concern with their families well-being during this economic hard times.
They should look more extensively into the drugs they are giving the soldiers and maybe even offer finacial help to the families of soldiers while they are away.
These brave men and women have enough to worry about while in a war zone. They shouldn't have to worry about if their families are suffering or not. The soldiers are taking care of us over there, We should help their families over here. It's not easy when the bread winner in the household is shipped off to another country.
I just hope this epidemic doesn't grow any worse. We need to find out what is going on here. Of course these things do happen, but why is the number of suicides sky rocketing like this?
If it's a problem we can reverse or at least limit, we should do it.
God bless you all who have ever served this country and God Bless the troops currently serving! Please hang in there! As I said, I can't say I know you're pain or what your going through. But we all want you home soon!

GM Stands for Greedy Motherfuckers!
I've about had it with these lazy, no-good welfare people!
They make me sick!
I'm sure you all remember the 700 billion dollar welfare check we wrote to the richest people in the country?
(If you don't....where the hell have you been?)
Well, if they haven't suckered us enough, GM is following suit.
Gm plans to take 1 billion of their welfare money (Auto Bailout is what they are calling this welfare check) and invest it into opening plants in Brazil.
Not here at home to save the jobs of the men and women who helped them make their money. But to Brazil.
(And before I continue, please know that it IS welfare. What else do you call it when you take federal money and GIVE it to people for assistance. That is welfare. We seem to look down on it when it's given to single parents who live in a public housing project. That's called taking the easy way out. And if you agree with that filth, Please...get a low paying job and live off welfare. Then tell me how easy it is.....But when it's given to millionaires....we call it a bailout. Don't be fooled, it's welfare and you are paying for it, your children may be paying for it too.)
Anyway.....Brazil. WOW! That's a long commute for the workers here to......... Oh yea....duh. What was I thinking? Of course, of course....they are going to lay off people here and ship their jobs to brazil in the name of profit. How patriotic! You find out who your friends are sometimes.
Some friends stick by you through the hard times.....and some bail on the first sign of trouble.
This is no new song and dance for GM. They have been doing this for years.
(I'm not going to type the history of GM. Watch "Roger & Me" by Michael Moore. About how Roger Smith and GM ruined Flint, Michigan and the people who lived there when they sent all their jobs to Mexico at a time when they were making record profits here in America.)
I say fuck GM, fuck them in their stupid greedy asses!
If they don't need us, we don't need them.
Go ahead. Take the money and run! But let me tell you this...
When this country does get back on it's feet and our economy is flowing again. DONT COME BACK! Take your shit and leave! WE DONT NEED YOU! (Take Exxon with you too, Please)
I am boycotting GM from now on. I know I am only one man. But trust me...others WILL follow. As long as we have free speech and a free press, others will follow! If you have any integrity left...You will follow!
It has been said to me that I hate the rich. This is not true. If you work hard and become successfull, all power to you! Just don't lose your soul and conscience in the process like so many have.
I DO hate crooks and low-lifes though. This is true and this is what you are.
Whatever happend to the good ol' days of the honest man?
To GM we are all just numbers on a page, statistics. But if i have anything to do with it. We will be your worst fucking nightmare!
(I apologize for my language. But as I said, I have had it with these welfare bums)
Mr. President, I voted for you, I am a big admirer of yours, You are a hero of mine.
But if you don't do something about this and other companies that our taking advantage of us........that would deeply hurt me.
Please Mr. president, don't follow in the footsteps of Reagan, Clinton and Bush and sit by while these thugs rape us.
Please!!
It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God - Mathew (19:24)
“For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” – (Mt.16:26)

We're not Enemies, We just Disagree
There is something terribly wrong in this country. This is nothing new and it probably will not disappear in our lifetime.
I believe we are in a era where racism, sexism, ageism, ect. is finally starting to be seen for what it is. Biggotry, hatefull, and irrelevant.
It seems like each generation is growing more tolerant and understanding of people who are different from themselves.
A country that was founded by slave owners just elected an African American man to it's highest office. And in his inauguration speech he metioned non-believers. No President, maybe even no other elected official has ever mentioned this group.
This is a huge feat. In my opinion. And I hope in my lifetime we see biggotry in all forms die off. We will always have problems, but we should never let the skin color, age, sex, or religous beliefs of others be a problem for us.
But on the other hand, there is one obsticle we may never scale. Partisan Politics.
When I was a kid, I couldn't tell you what a Republican or Democrat was. My family has never been highly political. I didn't take an interest in politics untill around the age of 18. Before then I just rooted for the guy who seemed more reasonable, better for the job. And to be honest, I wish i could go back to those days.
Now don't get me wrong. I am a proud Liberal and believe in what the party stands for. I'm sure the same applies to my conservative counterparts. And there is nothing wrong with this. Millions of brave men and women have risked and given thier lives so that we can have the freedom to disagree and speak our minds. This is America.
But sometimes it doesn't always have that agree to disagree feeling. Sometimes it feels like full on war. Sometimes it feels more like a heated sport than it does politics. We root root root for the home team.
We are all guilty of this. We vote for a party, not the person.
Now, with that said, I believe we do have our simularites.
We all love this country. If we didn't we wouldn't have the passion that drives us to debate and do somethiing about what we believe in.
I feel we all want the same things.
Both parties want this country to be the best it can be.
No one enjoys seeing people suffer in the terrorism that is poverty.
We all want to be able to go to the doctor when we or a loved one gets sick.
No one wants to see someone go into a hellish debt just because they became ill or got hurt.
No one wants war....i think.
We all want the same things, we just differ on how to go about getting there.
We get so caught up in the game of politics that it makes it so hard for things to get done in Washington.
Neither party will forfeit or surrender. And they Shouldn't. But wouldn't it be nice if grown men and women could find a happy medium. If for no one else, for US!
When Bush was President, us democrats railed against him and we grid our teeth. Now that Obama is President, the Republicans are doing the same thing. Both men tried to give and compromise to the other party. Both men were told to go fuck themselves.
We need to get one thing clear here. I may be a Democrat and you may be a Republican, a Libertarian, Green Party, Independent, ect.
But when all is said and done, We are all Americans! We are all in this together! United we Stand, Divided We Fall!
If a President fails, We all Fail!
It's ok to have faith in a political party. But don't become the party. Be a Human Being!
There are poor Republicans and rich Democrats
There are Pro-Choice Republicans and Pro-Life Democrats.
There are Anti-War Republicans and Pro-War Democrats.
Sometimes Republicans are wrong, Sometimes Democrats are wrong.
But underneath that we all want a great country and an easier life for the short time we have on this earth.
And life is too short to risk the glorious American dream for petty argueing and partisan politics.
We need to stop thinking of ourselves as a person, and know that we are people.
We need to stop thinking of ourselves as a city, and know we are a state.
We need to stop thinking of ourselves as a state, and know we are a country.
We need to stop thinking of ourselves as a country, and know that we are the world.
Does this mean I won't write anymore partisan blogs.....I wouldn't hold your breath.
I didn't write this blog from the aspect that this is how i am and you should be it too. I wrote it in hopes of what I would like to be. It's very hard......but I'm trying.
And to my Republican friends, I have nothing but respect for you. We may not always agree. But we all have the same goal in mind...A Better Tomorrow for every human being.
